For the new 2024 year, I decided to provoke my passion for cupcake baking and I created The 52 Weeks of Cupcakes Challenge for myself! What is it? To think of a new cupcake recipe every week and bake it!
The idea came spontaneously. I was going over this year’s events and deliberating what I want to improve for the coming year. I was really focusing on the things that make me truly happy in life. Of course, my family and friends, my two cute dogs were the first on my list of “happy”. Right after came my passion for travel and … baking cupcakes.
I realized that I haven’t done enough of the later for some time and that was it – the “wow” moment! I figured that if I challenge myself to create and bake a new cupcake recipe every week of 2024, I will get a sense of accomplishment from a hobby I actually love. Furthermore, making it public will keep me accountable and push me to do more of my “happy” stuff.
52 Weeks of Cupcakes 2024 Challenge Plan
There is no plan, there is no agenda. I decided that I will go with the flow of my cupcake recipe ideas and try to make them happen as tasty as possible. I am sure that I will include some of my all time favorite classics cupcake recipes such as the Vanilla Cupcake but I know that I will experiment as well.
Although I haven’t planned all cupcake recipes that I will be preparing as part of the Cupcake challenge, I decided to keep track of my efforts. This will be done in my very own, custom 52 Weeks of Cupcakes 2024 Challenge Planner/Calendar. Stay tuned because once the template is ready, I will be sharing it with you.
As a hobby photographer, I also realised that the 52 Weeks of Cupcakes Challenge 2024 will stimulate my photography creativity. And that’s always good!
And what about all those cupcakes? Clearly, I can’t eat them all even if I wanted. Well, there’s always family, friends and colleagues to enjoy them, right?
